A couple of Rhode Island newlyweds are competing in the 38th season of "The Amazing Race."

Megan and Matt Turner , of Providence, are set to appear on the CBS competition show starting Sept. 25, according to the television network.

Matt Turner , a former "Big Brother" contestant, was invited with his wife to participate in the competition against 12 other "fan-favorite" houseguests from the show.

"Genuinely, I feel honored that out of the 'Big Brother' players that were asked to go on, I was part of that group. That's, like, crazy to me," Matt Turner said in an Instagram story .

Viewers will watch the competitors kick off the game in Amsterdam and embark on a challenge-filled adventure around Europe, CBS said.
