ST. PAUL, Minn. — Trish Wehling is sharing her daughter Jordan Huver's tragic story as part of Minnesota's statewide DWI enforcement and awareness campaign. Jordan was just 18 when she died in a crash involving an impaired driver 12 years ago. “Every time I think of losing Jordan, I think, 'What if the driver had not been drinking? What if they called an Uber?’” said Trish Wehling. “I hope and pray that everyone on the road starts to make the right decision and never drives impaired. Please plan a sober ride or offer to be one for someone else. I know the consequences of not making that choice.” The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) is collaborating with nearly 300 local law enforcement agencies for a two-week campaign starting August 15
