The education school at a Birmingham university has a new look following an £11 million project.
The Benjamin Zephaniah Building, on Birmingham City University's city centre campus in Fox Street, has undergone a major facelift to provide a new home for its education and teacher training school.
The work, led by specialist fitout contractor Overbury, covered five floors and incorporated teaching spaces for science, the arts and design and textiles and social study areas for students.
A leaking roof was also removed and replaced to make the building watertight while the ground-floor areas and main atrium were also revamped.
The improvements at the building, formerly known as University House, are part of BCU's ongoing programme of investment in its learning spaces.
