Country music legend George Strait picked up some praise from Donald Trump on Wednesday, and he will also be getting an honor from the president.

That is because Strait was among those named by Trump in the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors Class. He was joined by KISS, Sylvester Stallone, actor Michael Crawford and Gloria Gaynor.

“The first is country music star, actor and producer George Strait,” Trump said Wednesday as he announced the class. “Great.
