MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- One woman is hurt after a two-vehicle crash in Silver Spring on Friday morning, officials said.

Montgomery County police responded just after 9:45 a.m., with Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services (MCFRS) en route just minutes later. Crews arrived at the Layhill Road and Bel Pre Road to find that two vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.

A car and a truck had collided with a passenger trapped, MCFRS said. A woman was injured with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
