Bridge replacement work on a bridge located at NW 33-41-27 W4M (tributary to Whelp Brook) will start on Aug. 21 in Lacombe County.

As part of the project, sections of Township Road 415B, Range Road 273A, and Township Road 415 will be closed to through traffic and only accessible to local traffic.

The road closures are necessary to safely complete the construction of the bridge.

The project is expected to be completed by Sept. 22, weather permitting.

Detour routes will be marked, and signage will be in place to help guide motorists around the construction area.

All drivers are reminded to obey posted signage and use caution when travelling in the area.
