PITTSBURGH — Cleveland Browns linebacker Devin Bush is scheduled to go to trial on Dec. 2 in Pennsylvania on charges related to the alleged assault of his girlfriend in May.

The trial date was set Friday during a hearing in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court.

Bush is facing charges of simple assault, a second degree misdemeanor, as well as a summary offense of harassment.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by 3News, the victim told dispatchers that Bush, her boyfriend, assaulted her and took her car keys before leaving the residence in Sewickley, a suburb of Pittsburgh.

Officers arrived to find the victim had gone to a neighbor's home. As they began speaking with her, Bush returned to the residence and was told to wait at the property.
