LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Family of 28-year-old Jermia Offutt spoke through sobs in the area she was killed Thursday evening.

Offutt was shot in the 4100 block of West Broadway in the Chickasaw neighborhood Wednesday night. Offutt, known as "Squeaky," was an expecting mother of three.

"She was pregnant with another. And she was four months, so they not only killed my daughter, but they killed my grandson," Offutt's mother told media. "My grandbabies don't have a mother because of this nonsense that's going on around here."

Offutt is described as being willing to give the shirt off her back to someone else.
