ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
A man was robbed at gunpoint and carjacked in Asheville, North Carolina, after meeting a woman whom he previously talked to online, according to police.
Around 6:17 p.m., officers with the Asheville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery and carjacking near Avalon Park Circle.
When officers arrived, they found the victim, who said he had been communicating with a woman online. When he entered the home to meet her, two men robbed him at gunpoint.
According to police, the two men and the victim left in the victim's vehicle. The victim was "dropped off" several miles away, unharmed.
Through investigation, officers and detectives found the victim's stolen iPhone at a home on Reed Street and made contact with the two men and woman. The men, identified
