SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - There is a heavy police presence on I-16 and police have closed down portions of the road near Chatham Parkway.

WTOC is on the scene and has seen police clearing people from the road.

We have been told that police are attempting to recover a vehicle which has fell between the ditch and the trees by the Chatham Parkway exit.

There are no serious injuries.
