After two weeks of allegedly fleeing from Colorado Springs police, two suspects were arrested Thursday and are facing charges of motor vehicle theft, police said.

One of them is believed to be responsible for multiple car thefts.

Investigators from the Colorado Springs Police Department's Motor Vehicle Theft unit were surveilling a stolen 1999 Ford F-250 truck and found the two suspects in it at around 8:30 p.m., police said in a blotter entry. The suspects were purportedly spray painting the truck and removing stickers from it in the 100 block of North Academy Boulevard before their arrest.
