A 63-year-old Niagara Falls man has died following a hit-and-run collision last weekend.
In a press release issued Friday, Niagara Regional Police said the man, who was the pedestrian struck by a white four-door Audi SUV around 10 p.m. Sunday in the area of Montrose Road and Greendale Street, died from his injuries in hospital Thursday.
Police said detectives are now investigating the incident as a hit-and-run fatality.
Police said they are seeking dashcam, cellphone or other surveillance footage recorded between 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Dorchester Road, between Lundy’s Lane and McLeod Road in Niagara Falls, that may have captured the suspect vehicle.
