Two of the people hospitalized after a crash in Tuscola County this week that left six dead are expected to be released from the hospital soon, the Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The investigation is still ongoing because authorities has not been able to properly conduct interviews due to the victims still actively receiving treatment, Sheriff Ryan Robinson told The Detroit News. He said one victim remains in critical condition: a female who was flown from the scene by a helicopter.
Another female who was significantly injured is awaiting transfer and was able to talk to a detective, Robinson said. On Thursday, the department said two were in critical condition.
