LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A man has been indicted in connection with the armed robbery of an armored truck in Las Vegas.

In a release from the U.S. Department of Justice, it was announced that Devonte Devon Jackson would be indicted for the armed robbery of an armored truck.

The incident occurred on July 16 in the 9800 block of West Charleston Boulevard near Hualapai Way. According to court documents, Jackson is accused of stealing approximately $327,000 from an armored truck outside a bank while armed with a gun.

He was taken into custody on July 29 in Texas and extradited to Las Vegas to stand trial on federal charges linked to the armed robbery.“Jackson is charged with one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence,
