There are serious and highly concerning issues with the process used to draft Coweta County’s proposed data center ordinance.
These problems are significant enough that we, as citizens, should demand the process start over — with full transparency and genuine consideration of all viewpoints.
On May 6, 2025, the Coweta County Commission adopted a 180-day moratorium on data centers to allow time for a carefully crafted ordinance regulating their location, development, and operation.
