PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Multnomah County is investigating another possible heat-related death that was recorded during the mid-August heat wave, the county announced Friday.
Officials say the woman, 57, died in the 97214 zip code and his death was recorded Thursday, Aug. 14. The woman’s identity was not immediately shared with the public.

Her death comes one day after Multnomah County officials announced its first suspected heat death on Thursday, involving a 59-year-old man found in the 97233 zip code.
The exact cause of death in either of these cases has not been determined, and their deaths are currently only suspected to have been related to extreme temperatures.
