Two new Lucas County roundabouts are slated for construction in 2030.

One is at Nebraska Avenue and Centennial Road in Springfield Township and the other is at Sylvania Avenue and Richfield Center Road in Richfield Township.

The construction will be paid through a federal grant, the Lucas County Engineer’s Office announced Friday.

The projects are estimated to cost $1,125,500, according to a news release. The grant has a matching requirement that 80 percent of the total cost come from federal funds and 20 percent from a local source.
