City officials say a fourth person has died in the Legionnaires’ outbreak in Central Harlem.

The city’s Health Department has also disclosed the location of the cooling towers that tested positive for the bacteria. That includes Harlem Hospital, a CUNY Science Building, and the city’s Economic Development Corporation office. The final affected cooling tower was remediated today.

City leaders are also encouraging local residents to monitor their health and seek testing if necessary.

Dr. Wafaa El-Sadr, professor of epidemiology, and expert in infectious disease at Columbia University, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday with the latest on containing the disease, and recommendations to prevent future outbreaks.
