WYOMING, MI -- A 45-year-old Grand Rapids man died after suffering injuries in a motorcycle crash in Wyoming after midnight on Friday.

The crash took place around 12:19 a.m. on Aug. 15 at the intersection Eastern Avenue and 32nd Street, according to a news release from the City of Wyoming.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was traveling south on Eastern Avenue, approaching a green light at 32nd Street.

A passenger car, driven by a 50-year-old Grand Rapids woman, was traveling north on Eastern Avenue and collided with the motorcycle while making a left turn.

The woman suffered minor injuries and spoke to officers at the scene.

She was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was lodged at the Kent County Correctional Facility.
