MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WFSB) - In just under two weeks, Middletown students will be back in school.
While getting ready for the first day of school, the district handed out backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils and more at a back-to-school fair.
Riley Linn was excited to see her friends there.
“I miss them so much. I got to see a lot of my friends that were in my school. I got to see them today, and that was cool,” she said.
But there is one big change coming to Middletown schools this year: dismissal times are moving up 20 minutes for all students.
That means that if your child got out at 3:45 p.m. last year, the final bell will now ring at 3:25 p.m.
