Offices and animal control officers responded to reports about a residence on Glacier Peak Lane, regarding a large number of cats seen in and around the residence. After speaking with a resident in the home, officers discovered over 20 cats in and around the residence, the Chico Police Department said.
Officers also reported unsanitary conditions, including soiled litter boxes, animal waste and trash inside the residence. Two children were also located inside the home, amongst soiled furniture and spoiled food, according to the Chico Police Department.
