MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The school year is approaching and that means some kids may be attending preschool for the first time. One local organization is providing two programs to make this leap fun for everyone.

Prairie Grit Therapy in Minot has two programs this fall: Little Gritters Preschool and Tiny Gritters Pre-Preschool.

Little Gritters Preschool is offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon and Tiny Gritters Pre-Preschool is offered twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

Both programs offer play-based learning: blending academics, activities, and social interactions to prepare kids for kindergarten.

Enrollment is offered to all families, and children do not need to receive therapy services at Prairie Grit in order to attend. Education Coordinat
