LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — Locals will have a chance Saturday to get out and ride for a good cause.
A new nonprofit Enough DV is hosting a fundraiser poker run to support their fight against domestic violence.
All wheels are welcome, and it starts at Frontier Harley-Davidson with registration from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., $20 a hand or $30 a couple.
The group will be riding from Harley-Davidson to Val Tavern in Valparaiso, Don’s Dar in David City, Good Ol’ Days in Staplehurst and Bottle Rocket in Seward before ending up at Braska Bar in Lincoln, where winning hands and raffle prizes will be announced.
Board member Gina Carlson said the good cause ride will raise funds for future endeavors like trainings and other opportunities to help bridge the gaps for survivors and victims’ left behin
