Former Iowa football tight end George Kittle continues to be among the NFL's best players.
After a stellar 2024 season, Kittle's eighth overall for the San Francisco 49ers, the former Hawkeye was once again selected to the league's annual top-100 players list .
The list, compiled from votes by the league's players, provides insight into how individuals are perceived by their colleagues and competitors. Kittle ranked No. 31, 17 spots lower than he did in 2023, and was right above Houston Texans receiver Nico Collins.
Kittle's continued production as one of the best players at his position awarded him a contract extension in April, whch made him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history . The four-year deal is worth up to $76.4 million with $40 million in guarantees.
