NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A Madison County family doubled in size Friday afternoon after a special adoption ceremony in Hamilton County .

Kevin and Amanda Cougill, who live in Markleville, made the trip to Noblesville to officially welcome six young children to their family.

"We have had the four for two years and the twins since birth," said Amanda.

The children, who stair-step in age, are all biological siblings.

"Five, four, three, two, and one," said Amanda.

Her husband adding, "It's been interesting."

In front of a Hamilton County judge, the Cougills told the court about their growing family.

"What do you do for a living," asked adoption attorney Grant Kirsh.

Amanda proudly replied, "I am a mom!"
