( 25News Now ) - The power run game and Elmwood-Brimfield Football have long gone hand in hand.

This year is no different, as the Trojans bring back one half of their two-headed backfield monster from a season ago in senior Layne Johnson, but lose an all-state two-way star in Bo Windish to graduation.

Along with the run game, the Trojans, according to Coach Todd Hollis, sports “four, maybe five valedictorians on the team between the classes...when you have that on the offensive line, they can learn and pick up stuff pretty quickly.”

The Trojans open their 2025 campaign with a Week One matchup at home against Knoxville.
