The Morgan County Sheriff's Posse Bulls and Barrels Rodeo is returning Saturday, promising an exciting lineup of events.

From bull riding to barrel racing, the community can look forward to a thrilling showdown. Proceeds from the rodeo will benefit the sheriff's office and local non-profits.

Sammy Lawrimore, the oldest member of the posse, emphasized the community's impact. "The more people we got here, the more people we can help," Lawrimore said, "everything you spend here will help somebody."

This marks the first time in over five years that the event is back, and the posse is hopeful for a strong turnout. Certified Mounted Police Instructor Meagan Ross shared the preparations involved in getting the horses ready for the rodeo.
