BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
An Alabama hospital system will soon open a new addition that it says will transform patient recovery not only in Alabama but beyond.
On Tuesday, Aug. 19, UAB Medicine will officially open its new Rehabilitation Pavilion on Seventh Avenue South. The 11-story, $156.7 million facility includes 134 inpatient rehabilitation beds, therapy gyms and sweeping views — features they say are designed to support inpatient care.
