SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) – Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Sun Prairie. The arrests come after a noticeable rise in burglary and theft-from-auto cases over June and July 2025.

Two suspects, both 17 years old, were detained by Portage police on August 14. They are now in the custody of the Sun Prairie Police Department and booked at the Dane County Jail.

The Sun Prairie Police Department is recommending multiple charges against the suspects. One teen faces multiple charges of burglary and fraudulent use of a transaction card, and the other is charged with burglary and receiving stolen property.
