LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Southeast led all LPS football teams with 7 wins last season. The Knights reached the Class A playoffs and they’re hoping to play in the post-season again this fall.
Lincoln East has a blend of key returners and young playmakers. Plus, a few key transfers including quarterback Gavin Semm. The junior signal caller joined LSE from Grand Island, who the Knights ironically play in Week 1.
Lincoln Southeast faces a challenging schedule in 2025. The Knights draw both Creighton Prep and Millard South before October.
Nate Appleget is a returning All-Conference and All-City performer for LSE. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker will anchor a defense that could be the strength of the team. Appleget is committed to North Dakota.
