IRVING, Texas — Irving police are searching for suspects who they say shot a man during a road rage encounter early Friday morning.

Around 6:08 a.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of East Union Bower after multiple reports of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found the man with at least one gunshot wound and began lifesaving measures, the department said in a news release.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, and police say he is expected to survive. His identity was not immediately released.
