WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - West Springfield hosted its first Food Truck Fridays event at the Town Common on Park Street, drawing locals to enjoy a variety of food and craft vendors.

The event, which will continue every Friday in August from 4 to 8 PM, aims to bring the community together and support local businesses.

Attendees can explore a range of offerings from different vendors, making it a new attraction for the town.

"We came here tonight to see friends of ours who are one of the vendors, but we came for dinner as well," said Janine Iacolo from Agawam. "We stopped at Saucy Mama, had some meatballs and antipasto, and picked up some pizza for our family at home."
