BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A former Blount County Deputy is in custody after being convicted of assaulting an inmate .

New video shows another alleged assault involving former deputy Joseph Snow that’s led to a lawsuit and a new investigation.

In the video above, you can see a female inmate dressed in pink slammed into a wall. The lawsuit says she suffered excruciating pain, torment, and panic from this attack and eventually became unconscious. That inmate has filed a $3 million lawsuit against Snow with a court hearing is later this month.

Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon says he was unaware of the video until Thursday, August 14, but it was handed over to the FBI. He says he is unaware of what the FBI investigation determined and is now forwarding the video to the Blount Co
