BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Good morning and happy Saturday!

The combination of rainfall yesterday and humid conditions has resulted in patchy dense fog across central Alabama this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for areas along and east of Interstate-65 until 9 a.m. Areas under the advisory could see visibility of a quarter of a mile or less. Just make sure you slow down and use your low beams if you encounter dense fog.

Temperatures this morning are close to average with most of us near 70°F. We will likely see a mostly sunny sky this morning and into the afternoon hours. A few clouds will likely develop this afternoon giving way to a low chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm.
