When new eateries come north from London, it's usually a city centre place that companies set their sights on.

But this time it's Bolton's turn to get the first bite with a new premium fried chicken brand which has just launched.

Deliveroo's award winner for the Best Fried Chicken in the UK, Coqfighter was founded by Australian born friends Troy Sawyer, Deacon Rose and Tristan Clough who were frustrated by the lack of high quality fried chicken options in the capital.

Having first launched in 2014, Coqfighter quickly gained rave reviews across the board and the queues haven’t stopped since.

We were among the first to try out the menu from the place, which has opened in Farnworth and takes orders via Deliveroo and UberEats.
