Coosa Christian football's lawsuit against the Alabama High School Athletic Assocation has been dismissed.

The move comes following the Conquerors suspending head coach Mark O'Bryant and the AHSAA removing restrictive probation that was keeping the program out of the 2025 AHSAA playoffs. Both moves were announced by the AHSAA on Saturday, Aug. 9. On Wednesday, the school announced Rush Propst as the interim coach for the 2025 season.

The lawsuit, originally filed in November of 2024, was looking to get the school back in the playoffs for the 2024 season and 2025 season. The lawsuit was dismissed by Judge James Anderson on Wednesday, Aug. 13, agreeing to the motion to dismiss filed by Coosa on August 12.
