A 'cockroach infestation' ruined a £2,500 holiday for a Warwickshire family. The Wheeldons were excited for seven nights at the Basilica Holiday Resort in Paphos - but things soon turned sour.

Stuart, from Coleshill, was shocked to discover cockroaches in three apartments his family ended up staying in - some measuring 'a couple of inches long', report BirminghamLive .

The EasyJet package holiday to Cyprus should have seen the family taking pictures by the pool, on the beach or sightseeing, instead their camera roll is full of photographs of cockroaches on a pillow, a window and the floor - they were also discovered in the shower.
