EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A longtime family-owned and operated farm in Evansville has had an unfortunate setback.
Owners of the farm posted on social media Friday night and said their property was targeted by thieves.
In their 85 years of business, they say this is only the second time they’ve had something stolen from their farm.
According to the post, the thieves made off with several weedeaters and a MIG welder.
Mayse officials say they’re also aware several of their neighbors have been targeted by thieves over the past year.
“We share this not only to express our frustration, but also to remind our neighbors to stay alert and watch out for each other,” they said on Facebook. “We used to be able to trust that things like this wouldn’t happen here, which makes it all the more dishea
