WEBSTER CO., Ky. (WFIE) - A man and woman in Webster County are now behind bars and facing drug trafficking charges.

Shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday, several agencies arrived with a search warrant at a home on US-41A North near Poole.

As they arrived on scene, suspects David Fruit and Christina Riggs were spotted outside the home.

Deputies say Riggs immediately ran into the home and shut the door after seeing them.

Both Riggs and Fruit were taken into custody without incident.

During their search, deputies say they found packaged quantities of meth, cash and drug paraphernalia.

David Fruit is charged with:

Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense — Methamphetamine >2 grams

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Christina Riggs is charged with:

Trafficking in Controll
