The first of four Wawa gas station and convenience stores coming to the Shenandoah Valley opened Friday morning in Fishersville.
Over the next 10 years, the Pennsylvania-based business known for its built-to-order hoagies plans to construct 60 stores along the Interstate 81 corridor. The expansion into the valley promises to create more than 2,000 new jobs.
