A man has been arrested after Bournemouth footballer, Antoine Semenyo, reported being racially abused during his team's match against Liverpool on Friday night (August 15).
A 47-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested following the match at Anfield.
Merseyside Police say the man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public order offence.
The man has been taken into custody to be interviewed, the force confirmed.
