NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Heads up commuters: Service suspensions have begun on the No. 4, 5 and 6 train lines south of the Grand Central-42nd Street subway station due to track replacement work, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced.

The service suspensions, which started at 11:30 p.m. on Friday and end at 5 a.m. on Monday, come as crews replace concrete under switches north of 14th Street. The suspensions will also happen next weekend between Friday, August 22 and Monday, August 25.

As part of the service changes, No. 4 trains will not run between Grand Central-42nd Street and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue or New Lots Avenue. No. 4 trains will also run local between Woodlawn and Grand Central-42nd Street.

No. 5 trains will not run between East 180th Street and Bowling Green,
