The Angolan Committee of Solidarity with Bolivarian Venezuela and the Angolan League of Friendship, Solidarity, and Peace condemned the interventionist actions of the United States in the South American nation and, in particular, the persecution of President Nicolás Maduro.

The Committee's secretary general, Leandro Paquete, emphasized that "they want to associate Venezuela's legitimate leadership with drug trafficking, a narrative without legal arguments and completely without evidence."

The group stated that this action violates the sovereignty of peoples and sets a dangerous precedent for other nations.
