In an operation by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested five Colombian citizens who entered Venezuelan territory with firearms. The information was shared by the Secretary of Citizen Security for Apure State, Ramón Cabeza, on his social media.

The arrest took place on August 10, 2025, at the Citizen Service Post (PAC) on the José Antonio Páez International Bridge in Guasdualito. The detainees were identified as Omar Lisandro Delgadillo Rincón, Mayiled Bustos Perdomo, Willian Rodríguez Rojas, Camilo Humberto Vanegas Otalora, and Diana María Viloria Blanco.
