KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
No one was injured following a house fire Saturday night in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Fire Department said crews were dispatched at around 7:10 p.m. to the 1100 block of West 76th Street. Advertisement
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames coming from a two-story home.
An offensive fire attack was launched, and crews advanced two hose lines to knock down the blaze.
Searches of the home came back clear, and the fire was declared under control by 7:28 p.m.
Firefighters remained on scene to overhaul the home and put out hot spots.
The Red Cross was called in to assist two displaced adults.
No injuries were reported.
