LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Whether you like the more traditional carnival attractions, like rides, games and food, or you’re interested in the more agricultural side of things, there is something at the Kentucky State Fair for you.

“I brought my whole family here, my kids and everybody,” said attendee Abid Talic.

Saturday was Abid Talic’s first time at the Kentucky State Fair, and he said it did not disappoint.

From the food to the rides, he said his whole family had something to enjoy.

“Kids or adults, you can do a bunch of things. I actually got a hot dog here, it was good, my kids are actually going on a ride right now, at the moment,” said Talic.

But, there’s a whole other side to the state fair, one that takes preparation year-round.
