LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - In light of recent violent trends, two Louisville Metro Council members have announced their plans to host a conversation with the community to discuss potential solutions.

Hosted by Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins (D-1) and Councilman Ken Herndon (D-4), the “Community Violence Prevention Discussion” will take place at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m.

All community members and organizations are invited to attend and express their concerns and ideas on how to address the city’s increase in violent incidents.
