SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Our Delta breeze is keeping the weekend comfortable, but the nice weather won’t last long.

Highs in the Valley will reach the mid-80s on Sunday. In the foothills, temperatures will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s, while the Sierra will see highs in the mid-70s.

A refreshing Delta breeze will be noticeable in the afternoons and evenings.

Beyond the weekend, our mild weather system will lift away, and high pressure will build in from the east. This will gradually push Valley highs well above seasonal averages by the middle of next week, climbing into the 100s by the end of the week and into the weekend.
