As Halima Ali walks past the empty park outside her home, its lone slide devoid of children, she wrinkles her nose in disgust.
The forlorn looking patch of grass is mostly used by dog walkers but it is the residents of the estate who have to fork out for its upkeep – and they argue it is being inadequately maintained.
