CHINLE, Ariz. — We’re hearing from loved ones who knew one of the four victims who died in a plane crash on the Navajo Nation.
The crash involving the CSI Aviation company out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, occurred near the airport in Chinle, about 200 miles northeast of Flagstaff, on Aug. 5. Those on board were two medical personnel who were on their way to a hospital to pick up a patient, as well as two pilots.
Two friends of one of the victims, flight paramedic Nicholas Mancuso, told 12News in an exclusive interview that Mancuso will never be forgotten.
Lori Bigelow said she created a GoFundMe to help Nick's wife care for their daughter and Nick’s elderly mother. She’s already raised more than $36,000.
Bigelow said it’s heartwarming to have so much support from the community, but
